Linda J. Schad, of Southwood, NY, died Sunday at home surrounded by her loving family, after a long illness. Born in Syracuse, NY, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and the late Dorothy (Norton) Lemke. Linda was prede-ceased by her husband Gerald P. Sr. on June 17, 2005. She was a billing clerk, employed by New York State Parks and Recreation. Survived by two daughters, Lisa (John) Donegan of Jamesville, NY, Brenda (Michael) DiMaria of Clay, NY, and one son, Gerald (Barbara) P. Schad Jr. of Jamesville, NY; one sister, Sheila (Ed) House of West Amboy; 10 grandchildren, Nichole, Michael, Jacob, Heather, Amber, Sadie, Halie, Claudia, Cameron and Madeline; several nieces and nephews; and her devoted dog, Molly. Friends may call Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Sears-Middleton-Jones Funeral Home, Inc., 209 North Main Street (Rt. 11), North Syracuse, NY. Prayer service will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, 6437 E. Seneca Turnpike, Jamesville. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. Contributions may be made to Hospice of CNY.
