WEST HAVEN, UTAH: Beulah Mae Holmes Illum, 77, died January 7, 2006. She was born October 7, 1928 to Joseph Bingham and Beulah Thorne Holmes. She was a schoolteacher for the Weber School District, and taught 3rd grade classes for 27 years at Municipal Elementary School in Roy. She was a member of the Wilson 2nd Ward, and was a Relief Society teacher and a chorister for 30 years. She was an ordinance worker at the Ogden Temple, and served a stake mission. She is survived by her children, Douglas (Vickie) Illum of West Haven, Cheryl (Mark) Walker of South Ogden, Dennis (Laurie) Illum of Slaterville, Bruce (Judy) Illum of Roy, and Kurt (Teresa) Illum of Snohomish, WA; a sister, Jolene Wood of Ogden; a brother, Robert W. Holmes of West Haven; a sister-in-law, Mary Lou Kinloch of Pocatello, ID; 20 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Edgar Illum; a sister, Jean Rawlings; her parents; and a grandson, Rick Illum. Interment was at Ogden City Cemetery with arrangements by Myers Mortuary.
