JASPER ROBERT ADAMS , 80, of 4512 Emerson Road, Sterling, died May 17, 1985 at Morrison Community Hospital. Funeral Services were held at the Rock Falls Immanuel Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dennis Heaney officiating. Visitation was held at the Blair Funeral Home in Sterling. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Sterling. Pallbearers were: Robert Adams, Kenny Adams, Daniel Krein, Larry Adams, Randall Morgan, Wayne Gallentine, and Steve Denning. Mr. Jasper Adams was born June 16, 1904 in Emerson, the son of Robert and Lottie (Reed) Adams. He was educated in Emerson Grade School and attended Sterling High School. He was employed at National Manufacturing before retiring on August 1, 1970. He was united in marriage to Clara Johnson on June 24, 1924 in the family home by Rev. Krebbs. He was a member of Modern Woodsmen and the Rock Falls Immanuel Lutheran Church. He is survived by his wife, Clara; one sons Donald L. of Lyndon; seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
