Ryan J. Berner, 8, of 2126 Lenape Drive, Coplay, died May 28 in his home. He was in the third grade at Our Lady of Hungary Regional School, Northampton. Born in Allentown, he was a son of Alfred and Dawn (Kratzer) Berner, with whom he resided. He was a member of Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church, Northampton. He was a member of Cub Pack 99 at the church, played baseball for Ormrod Playground Association, and wrestled for the church Catholic Youth Organization Little Vikings, receiving the 2000-01 most courageous wrestler award. He was a recipient of the courageous award in 2002 presented by the Four Diamonds Fund, Hershey Medical Center. He was an honorary member of the Rolling Thunder Pennsylvania No. 2 and the Sons of Liberty Riders Motorcycle Club. Survivors: Parents; brother, Christopher at home; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Kratzer of Bath; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Berner of Catasauqua. Services: 9 a.m. Saturday, Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. Mass, 10 a.m. Saturday in the church. Call 5-8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Contributions: Ryan J.
