Mr. James O. Springer, Sr.

Mr. James O. Springer, Sr., 87, passed away Friday, May 6, 2011 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Eupora, MS. Visitation was Sunday, May 8, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Oliver Funeral Home. Funeral services were Monday, May 9, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wade Stevens officiating. Interment was at Clarkson Cemetery at Webster County.

Mr. Springer was Owner/Operator of Springer Dry Goods and Furniture. He was a member of Maben United Methodist Church at Maben, MS and was in the U.S. Army, WWII.

He is survived by his wife, Corinne Springer of Maben, MS; son, Jimmy Springer, Jr. of Mathiston, MS; grandchildren, Jamey (Cynthia) Springer, and Corey (Heather) Springer; great-grandchildren, Peyton, John Preston and James.

Pallbearers were Clifton Trull, Mickey White, Robert Cooksey, Cory Coleman, Barry Springer, and Tony Pritchard.

Memorials may be made to East Webster High School Building Fund, C/O Bank of Kilmichael in Mathiston.
