BETTENDORF — Marjorie E. Miles, 80, of Bettendorf, passed away Friday, July 15, 2011, at Genesis Medical Center, East Rusholme Street, Davenport. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 18, 2011, in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.
Marjorie was born on November 9, 1930, in Iowa City, the daughter of Don and Norma Beatty. On June 15, 1949, she married Harold Morrison. He preceded her in death on October 27, 1981.
She was an avid Bingo player and loved her dog, Zowie.
Survivors include her children, H. Wayne (Randie) Morrison, Jr., of Northport, Fla., Michael (Bunny) Morrison, Iowa City, Donna (Scooter) Phillips, Rock Island, and Pamela (Tom) Wilcox, Moline; grandchildren, Chad Phillips, Sarah Morrison, Christie Dixon, Heather Morrison, April Nitz, John Morrison, Wally Wilcox, and Wade Wilcox; five great-grandchildren; nephew, Douglas Hoffman, East Moline; and special friend, Leonard Miles.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Merry Ellen Hoffman.
