I.S. MOODY PASSES AT HIS HOME SATURDAY
I.S. Moody, age 78, died at his residence here Saturday afternoon at 6:00 o'clock. He is survived by three sons, H.I. Moody, Brunswick, J.W. Moody and W.H. Moody of Glennville; three daughters, Mrs. W.D. Crosby, Leroy S.C.; Mrs. J.L. Johnson, Waycross and Mrs. D.E. Johnson, Largo, Fla., and twenty-nine grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Beard's Creek church with Rev, W.B. Screws, Rev. A.V. Barnard, and Rev. J.R. Davidson conducting the rites. Pallbearers were: H.C. Dubberly, J.W. Branch, M.C. Kennedy, P.R. Kicklighter, Rufus Purvis and W.J. Paul. C.M. Stanfield was the mortician in charge.
