Abel Jr.Prescott was a unknown Revolutionary War Patriot! Abel was the younger brother of Dr.Samuel Prescott. Samuel rode with Paul Revere and William Dawes to warn Concord, Massachusetts that the British were coming. Concord was the location that the militia kept their arms and supply hidden from the British. After Samuel Prescott made it to Concord,he told his brother Abel. Abel then rode south to warn the towns of Sudbury,Natick,Framingham. He was fired upon by the British and was wounded in his side.He managed to escape to the home of Mrs Heywood.He died of dysentery in September 1775.
