Oren E Ohmart, 78, of Virden, a World War 1 Veteran and former operator for many years of a filling station here, died at 12:05 a.m. Wednesday at the Macoupin Nursing Home.
Remains were taken to the Berry Funeral Home here.
Mr. Ohmart was a member of the Virden Presbyterian Church, the Virden American Legion Post and the Girard Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; one sister, Mrs. Eva king, Vintondale, PA., and one brother, Chester Ohmart, Waverly.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday at the Funeral Home with burial in Virden Cemetery.
