Wayne J Phillips,a veteran of the Civil War, died at his home after an extended illness. He was the last member of the family of Aaron & Agnes McKown Phillips. In the fall of 1862 he enlisted in Co G, 14th Pa Volunteer Infantry & served until the end of the war. He was wounded in the battle of Gettysburg.
