Benjamin Franklin Jarratt, Jr. was the son of Benjamin Franklin Jarratt, Sr. and Martha (Mattie) Caroline Littlefield Jarratt. Ben married Alma Quarles (05 June 1905- 14 April 1989), and they had two daughters.

The Jarratt family is forever indebted to Benjamin Franklin Jarratt, Jr. for writing the book "SEEN THROUGH THE EYES OF A BUTTON". This book was rich with Jarratt history and family traditions. Ben was an electrical engineer. It was during his retirement years the he wrote this book. Ben was always seen at the Leesville, Texas, reunions dressed to the hilt before he moved to Colorado with his daughter.

Ben visited most all his relatives in preparing to write his book. He had a wonderful sense of humor in sharing family history. When asked to share a memorable experience of his visit with Dennis and Lucile Jarratt, he answered, "It was when Lucile asked me to help move the piano."

Benjamin F. Jarratt, Jr. is buried with his wife Alma Quarles Jarratt in El Paso, Texas.
