Mrs. Albert M. Doll, 66, lifelong resident of Wauzeka, WI, died Sunday morning Jan. 22nd, at the Beaumont Hospital after a short illness. A requiem mass was Wed. Jan. 25th, at Sacred Heart church in Wauzeka, the Rev. Father Zoll officiating, and interment was in adjoining cemetery.
The Rosary was said Tuesday afternoon by the Wauzeka Christian Mothers' Society, of which she was a member; and again in the evening by the Rev. Father Zoll and her many friends and relatives.
Evelyn Cecelia Degnan was born October 13, 1889, in the town of Eastman, to Felix and Theresa Degnan. She attended St. Mary's Academy in Prairie du Chien, where she became a teacher. She married Albert M. Doll of Wauzeka and to this union 6 children were born.
Her parents, 2 brothers; James and Peter, and 3 grandchildren preceded her in death.
Left to mourn are her husband; 3 sons, Paul and Lawrence of Wauzeka, and Andrew of Oelwein, Iowa; and 3 daughters, (Marie) Mrs. Harold Wagner of Prairie du Chien, (Dorothy) Mrs. Melvin Wagner of Chicago, Ill, (Irene) Mrs. Calvin Foley of Eastman; 25 grandchildren; 4 sisters, (Agnes) Mrs. Tom Friar of Woodman, WI, (Mary) Mrs. John Nolan of Prairie du Chien, (Margaret) Mrs. Fred Becwar of Eastman, WI, (Martha) Mrs. Warren Raymond of Spokane, WA; 1 brother, John
