A native of Franklin County, he was the son of the late Elmo Lee and Trella Rich Cromer. He was a retired truck driver and a U S Army Veteran. He is survived by his wife, Martha Williams Cromer; daughters, Sonya Lancaster of Dewy Rose and Rebecca Roberts of Athens; stepson, Shane Ethridge of Dewy Rose; Sister, Shirley Mistrot of Winder, Glenda Sewell of Atlanta, Opal Poole of Athens, and Debbie Palmer of Eatonton; brother, Randall Cromer of Monroe; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday at Deep Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Tim Adams and Eric Loving Officiating.
Burial was in the church cemetery.
