Mrs. Andrew J Friedman
Mrs. Ella G Friedman of 241 Smith ave SW died Tuesday at 5 p.m. in Mercy Hospital. She was 73 and suffered a cerebral hemorrhage earlier in the day. Mrs. Friedman was the widow of Andrew J Friedman who died Jan.11, 1908.
A native of Delaware, Mrs. Friedman had been a Canton resident 50 years and was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and the Rosary Altar Society, She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Edward Slabaugh and Mrs. Kenneth Mayforth, both of Canton; two sons, Vincent E of Antioch, Calif., and Andrew J Friedman of Ft. Wayne, Ind., and 11 grandchildren.
A solemn requiem High Mass will be sung Friday at 9:30, a.m. in St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Rt. Rev. Msgr. Ralph C. Kotheimer will be celebrant, Rev. Fr. John Nicolay, subdeacon.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The body is at the Welch funeral home where friends may call tonight from 7 to 9 and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
