I am the great great grandson of Morris Beard. I also am a preacher of the gospel. I would like to respectfully request that the term Reverend be removed and Brother be added. I am told he was a wonderful minister of the gospel and traveled many places in middle TN. I have had the opportunity to preach at some of the same places he preached. However, within the Church of Christ we do not wear the title of Reverend only Minister, Preacher, and/or Evangelist. Thank you for you research.
