Jarrett Russell Hodge, 17, of McCoy, died Friday, December 12 , 1997 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Jarrett was a junior at Blacksburg High School. He is survived by his parents Steven Russell and Marsha Jean Hodge of McCoy; one sister and brother-in-law, Amanda H. and Jim Lytton, of Christiansburg; one brother, Patrick Steven Hodge, of McCoy; maternal grandparents, Oval P. and Flossie Marie Campbell Ramsey, of Rose Hill, Va.; paternal grandparents, Maynard and Hazel Hodge, of Christiansburg, Louise and Clarence McCoy of McCoy; aunts and uncles, Connie and Kenny Richardson, of Christiansburg, Sue and O.P. Ramsey, Jr., of Riner; great aunt, Hazel Hodge, of Christiansburg; numerous cousins and many many friends. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, December 15, 1997 at 3 p.m. in the Centennial Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) McCoy with the Rev. Gordon Lee officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery Blacksburg. Friends may call anytime after 3 p.m. Sunday, and the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home Blacksburg.
