Funeral Services For Mrs. Roy Allgaier Scheduled Friday
After being hospitalized for a week, Mrs. Roy Allgaier passed away at St. John's Hospital in Huron, Jan. 9. funeral services will be held in the Miller Methodist Church Friday, Jan. 13, at 2:00 p.m. Services will be conducted by Rev. Charles Brown and Rev. Miller, a former pastor of the Miller church. Burial will be in the G.A.R. cemetery in Miller.
Pallbearers will be Ralph Ziegar, Wayne White, James Gerdes, Arthur Hibbison, Ted Jennings and Truman Elder.
Mrs. Allgaier, formerly Henrietta Tammen, was born in Kankakee, Ill., Nov. 10, 1885. She was married to Roy Allgaier Aug. 26, 1905. After living in Kankakee and Chicago for four years the family homesteaded in Harding County, S.Dak. in 1909. In 1920 they moved to Midland Township, Hand County where they have resided ever since.
Mrs. Allgaier is survived by her husband and two children, Mrs. Wilbur Jones of Miller and Earl Allgaier of Arlington, VA. She also leaves eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
