RICHMOND (March 13) Waller Bennett, 83, retired banker and one of Madison county's most prominent men, died today at his home here after a year's illness... a graduate of Yale. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Burnam Bennett; one son, Curtis B. Bennett, Cleveland, O.: five daughters; Mrs. T.B. Brittain, Annapolis, MD.; Mrs. E.A. MacLeod, Columbia, MO.; Mrs. John VanMeter Woodford, Bourbon county; Misses Isabel and Lucin Bennett, Richmond; and five grandchildren.
