Arlie Paul Asbury, 68, of Six Mile died Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at CAMC Memorial Hospital in Charleston.

He was retired from Boone County Schools Central Office after 24 years of service.

He is survived by his wife Bonnie; son and his wife Arlie Paul, II and Brenda along with their children Madi, Sadie, and Heidi Asbury of Hewett; brothers and their wives, Curtis and Vonda Asbury and James and Becky Asbury all of Six Mile; sisters, Connie and her husband Larry Dean of Pelham, Alabama and Debbie Watters of Six Mile; and special brother-in-law and his wife, Ralph and Nancy Tabor of Foster.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, July 15 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with the Rev. Roger McCauley officiating. Burial will follow in Boone Memorial Park, Madison.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
