... Widow of John Mason, Mrs. Mason was born in Allen County, Dec. 18, 1885 to Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Carnahan. She was a DeKalb County resident during her entire married life.
Two sons, Floyd and Max, preceded her in death.
She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
Surviving are four children, Lloyd K. Mason, 110 S. Dewey St., Auburn; Mrs. Paul Varlot, 1109 Shull St., Auburn; Carl Mason and Mrs. Betty Shillings, both of Route 2, McBain, Mich.; one brother, Clarcence Carnahan, Belleville, Mich.; one sister, Mrs. Velma McIntosh, New Boston, Mich.; 24 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Gerig Funeral Home, with Rev. George Schuette, pastor of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, officiating.
Calling is after 7 p.m. tonight. Burial is in Union Cemetery.
