Born on April 18, 1906 in Wickes, Ark., he passed away April 19, 2001.
Preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Clark Allen, daughter, son, granddaughter, and grandson.
He is survived by son Harold Allen; three daughters Dorothy Landers, Sylvia Hastings and her husband Wayne and Linda Barnes and her husband Don; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Boze-Mitchell Funeral Home in Waxahachie.
