James Richard Staples, 82, of Coalville, died Monday in a Salt lake hospital of natural causes.
He was born April 8, 1878, in Coalville to James B. and Sarah Ellen Ray Staples. He married Mary Clark, Nov. 26, 1919 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Survivors are his wife and the following brothers and sisters; John W. Staples, Mrs. Emma Wheaton, Mrs. MAry Ellen Wright, all of Coalville; Joseph F. Staples, South Weber; Mrs. Cecella Gunn, Santa Monica, California.
Funeral services are to be held this afternoon (Thursday) in the Coalville Second Ward Chapel. Burial will be in the Coalville City Cemetery.
