Mrs. Joe Mott Gumm, 46, teacher in Mill Creek School in Jefferson Co. for the past 5 years, died yesterday at her home, 1241 S. Floyd, Louisville. For many years before moving to Louisville she taught in Green County schools. She was graduated from the University of Louisville in 1953. Besides her husband, she is survived by 2 sons, Joe Rhea and Roy Jones Gumm; her mother, Mrs. J.R. Jones, Greensburg; 2 sisters, Mrs. Jake Onesin, Hodgenville, and Mrs. Ralph Tucker, Greensburg, and a brother, Walter Jones, Greensburg. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Hodges Chapel Methodist Church in Green County; burial was in Greensburg Cemetery. The body is at the home of Mrs. Jones. - supplied by Francie Ede
