The funeral of George W. Al[l]britton, 70, of Tullos, were [sic was] held at 2 p.m. Friday in New Union Baptist Church here with the Rev. Earl Paul and the Rev. Leslie McCartney officiating.

Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Riser & Son Funeral Home of Columbia.

Mr. Al[l]britton died Wednesday afternoon in LaSalle General Hospital in Jena after a long illness.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Irene Al[l]britton of Tullos, four sons, S.D. and Eugene Al[l]britton, both of Tullos; Bobby Al[l]britton of El Monte, Calif. and Glen Al[l]britton of Pasadena, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Sue Lincecum of Tullos and Mrs. Marilyn Carroway of Olla; three sisters, Mrs. Mamie Nugent and Mrs. Martha Cassell, both of Tullos, and Mrs. Mary Lou Buxton of Orange, Texas; four brothers, Jessie, Oscar, Leroy and Timothy Al[l]britton, all of Tullos; and eight grandchildren.
