Elizabeth was born May 21, 1895, in Rhinelander, Oneida County, Wisconsin, daughter of parents born in New York. She died in 1956 at Rice Lake and was buried in the family plot in St. Joseph's Cemetery. The "Kobliska" gravestone there is inscribed "Elizabeth 1894 - 1955" and" James W. 1889 - 1975," On May 21, 1917, Elizabeth was united in marriage to James Willard Kobliska, at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Rhinelander, Wis. Their known children were: John, b. 1919, in Spillville, Iowa & Elizabeth Kobliska, b. 21 May 1925, in Rusk County, Wis.

MRS. KOBLISKA, 61, SUCCUMBS SUNDAY.

Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Kobliska, 61, of 27 W. Messenger St., were held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church this Wednesday morning, with Msgr. Peter F. Myer officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mrs. Kobliska died Sunday at a local hospital following a lengthy illness. She had resided in Rice Lake for the past 23 years.

She was born Elizabeth Dusel May 21, 1895 at Rhinelander, Wis., and married James Kobliska on May 21, 1917, at St. Mary's Catholic church in Rhinelander.

She was a member of the Altar society of St. Joseph's church. Survivors include her husband, one son, John of Dunellen, N. J.; one daughter, Mrs. Terry (Elizabeth) Joyce of Omaha, Neb.; three sisters, Mrs. Francis Hartman of Silverton, Ore.; Mrs. Sadie Farrell of Van Nuys, Calif., and Miss Georgiana Dusel of Rice Lake.
