James H Sloan Dead.
James H Sloan, 55 years old, a well known real estate dealer of Kansas City, died at his home, 2613 East Fifth street, from brain fever yesterday. Rev Mr J R Brown, of the Olive Street Baptist church, will conduct the funeral services, which will be held at the family residence at 2 o'clock this afternoon. Burial will be in Union cemetery. Deceased leaves a wife and three children.

The Kansas City G.A.R. Trustee Wants
Information About Veterans
A.A. Kennedy of Kansas City, trustee for the G.A.R Fund to mark the graves of Civil war veterans, said to-day that many old soldiers were buried in Union cemetery without headstones because of lack of necessary identification. He wants to learn the company, regiment, rank and lot number for these men.
