He is survived by four brothers, Ted, Tim, Todd and Travis, all at home; one foster brother, Victor Tulaauska at home; and his parental grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Charle Corbitt of Coolville, O.
Funeral services were held at Elizabeth United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Charles Wilkinson and the Rev. Ruby Wilkinson officiating. Burial was in Palestine Cemetery.

Tragedy struck a former Wirt County family in Ohio last week when Thomas Richard Corbitt, age 18, of Westerville was killed in an automobile accident Tuesday, April 30, near his residence.
Reports indicate he was driving and trying out a car, and as he neared the turnoff to his driveway, was an innocent victim of some passing drag racers, with the collision and his death resulting.
He was born January 20, 1956, in Parkersburg a son of Charles and Judith Bain Corbitt.
The victim was a senior at Westerville High School and would have graduated in the next few weeks. He was a member of the Elizabeth United Methodist Church.
