Don Horn, a promient leader and liberal labor leader in the Houston area, was a longtime board member of the Harris County Hostital District. He was secretary-treasurer of the Harris County AFL-CIO for 30 years. He was in the news occasionally, especially during the PATCO strike in the early 1980's. Horn was named to the Texas Labor Hall of Fame in 2004. He was a Sunday school teacher at South Minster Presbyterian Church. And he was assistant scout master of Boy Scout Troop 60. His brother, Raymond Horn, was scoutmaster. Troup 60 was chartered to Riverside United Methodist Church of Houston, Texas.
