Inez Lorene (Babe) Bailey,95, Excelsior Springs, MO., passed away Saturday, July 9, 2011 at the Excelsior Springs, Convalescent Center.
Mrs. Bailey was born April 5, 1916, in Sedalia, MO., daughter of Oscar and Lillias (Alexander) Schaffer. She married Harold Bailey on July 1937 in Liberty MO, who preceded her in death in 1961.
Mrs. Bailey worked for the Lucille's Dress Shop in Excelsior Springs for many years.
In addition to her husband, Inez was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include: two daughters, Sondra and her husband Steve Shipcoff of Rogers AR, Judy and her husband Jerry Webb of Centerville OH; two sons, Paul and his wife Jeannie Bailey of Liberty MO., Mark and his wife Barbara Bailey of Lenexa KS; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, July 13 2011 at 2pm at the Polley Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs. No family visitation. Burial in the Crown Hill Cemetery, Excelsior Springs.
