Funeral services for Mrs. Ovaline (Dishman) Ferrell, 77, of Livingston, were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 24, 2003, from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home.
Burial was in Overton County Memorial Gardens with Bro. Nolen Cantrell officiating.
Mrs. Ferrell died Thursday, August 21 at Livingston Regional Hospital. She was a housewife and of the Baptist faith.
Born May 2, 1926, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Mary Lizzie (Ledbetter) Dishman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Ward Ferrell; a son, James Ward Ferrell; two sisters, Joyce Arney and Earslie Brown; and three brothers, Kenneth Dishman, Roy Dishman, and Hershel Dishman
Survivors include four daughters, Patsy Hawkins and her husband, Lawrence, of Livingston, Joyce Buck and her husband, Steve, of Anderson, IN, Janet Harper and her husband, William, of Cookeville, and Lisa Daniels and her husband, Jim, of Rickman; two sons, Ricky Ferrell and his wife, Debbie, of Rickman and David Ferrell and his wife, Tonya, of Allons; two brothers, Clyde Dishman and Ray Dishman, both of Livingston; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Pallbearers were Bob Reeder, Billy Reeder, Terry Coleman, Ronald Coleman, Baxter Hughes, and Billy Harper.
