Mrs. Kate Stacy Dies

PULASKI — Mrs. Kate M. Stacy, 69, Old Mexico Road, Fernwood, widow of Ivan Stacy, died Wednesday in Oswego Hospital. The funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Taylor Vida Funeral Home with Rev. George Butler, pastor of the North Scriba Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in South Richland Cemetery, Fernwood.

Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 2 to 4
and 7to 9 pm.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Franklyn (Betty) Baker, Kirkville, Mrs. Nicholas (Almina) Erard, Minoa, Mrs. Verle (Shirley) Hellinger, East Syracuse, Mrs. John (June) DeLong, Mexico; two sisters, Mrs. Edward (Lena) Runge, Mrs. Fred (Gertrude) Avery, and a brother, William Waterbury, all of Central Square, 17 grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Born- July 19, 1903, at Daysville, a daughter of Edgar and Jessie Atkinson Waterbury, she attended local and Pulaski schools and was graduated from Oswego Normal School. She taught at Daysville and Douglas schools.

She was married to Ivan Stacy at Pulaski March 13, 1923. The couple spent all their married life in the Fernwood vicinity. Mr. Stacy died in 1966. Mrs. Stacy was secretarytreasurer of the South Richland Cemetery Association.
