DEATH TAKES MRS. BARKER
Was Taken Seriously Ill Last Sunday; Funeral Sunday
Etola Pearl Barker, wife of Edward Barker, 903 West Stone street, passed away in the Jefferson county hospital at 7 o'clock last evening following a short illness. She was taken seriously ill Sunday.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon from the Hoskins Funeral Home. Rev. S. P. Williamson of the First Christian church will officiate. Burial in Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. Barker was born December 7, 1909. She is survived by her husband and two children, Darrell Dean and Carol Jean. She also leaves her mother, Mrs. D. S. Pottorff of Floris, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Fay Basham of Fairfield; Dolph Bottorff of Eldon; Mrs. Harry Quigley of Glasgow; and Mrs. Verne McGregor of Ottumwa.
