The deceased was born in Neda on Apr. 28, 1870, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gottlieb Bartsch. She was married to Henry Kloeden, and they made their home in this city. Mrs. Kloeden was an active member of the Damensektion and the Auxiliary of the American Legion. Mr. Kloeden preceded her in death in 1924.
Surviving are the children, Hugo of Madison; Lessie, Mrs. H. H. Blohm, Detroit, Mich.; Henry of Milwaukee; Herbert, of this city; and Frances, Mrs. O. H. Bauman, Wabeno. A sister, Ella, also survives, as do nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon from the Koepsell Funeral home, and interment was made in Graceland cemetery. John A. Thiel was the speaker.

Mrs. Emma Kloeden, widow of the late Heinrich Kloeden, former Postmaster of here, died at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac late Friday evening following an operation. She had only been ill a short time and lived to be 73 years old. She had been active in Mayville social circles throughout her life; and served in the women's section as president; she was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

She leaves behind three sons, Hugo Kloeden, Madison; Heinrich Kloeden, Milwaukee; and Herbert Kloeden, from here; two daughters, Mrs. Hans Blohm, Detroit, Michigan; Mrs. Oliver Baumann, Wabeno; as well as nine grandchildren. Her husband, Heinrich Kloeden Sr., died several years ago.
The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon from the E. H. Koepsell Funeral Home here, with burial in Graceland Cemetery. Attorney John A. Thiel, from here, officiated.
