-Funeral services were conducted yesterday afternoon for Mrs. Nora Catherine Swires, 59, widow of Oliver Swires, who died in Lock Lynn Heights Saturday afternoon. She was a daughter of the late George R. and Elmira Beckman.
Surviving are four children. Carl Swires, Cumberland; Mrs. Pearl Schlossnagte, Oakland; Mrs. Ruth Hopkins, Clarksburg, W.Va., and Gladys Swires, at home, and four brothers, Courtney Beckman, Luke; William Beckman, Bedford, Pa.; Alonzo Beckman, Erwin, W.Va.; and Isaac Beckman, Oakland.
She was a member of the United Brethren Church at Loch Lynn, from which the services were conducted by the Rev. J. C. Foster, pastor. Interment was in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
