Miller and Lena (or Lanan) Van Deusen. Selinda Smith possibly dt/o John Smith and Ruth--? John Smith a Presbyterian minister in Middlefield, Ostego Co., NY.

She was a great helpmate to her husband in his ministry in Southern Wisconsin.
She lived in New York, Rock Co., WI., Rutland, Dane Co., WI. and a brief time in 1890 Tecumseh,Johnson Co., NE. then returned prior to James R. Pope's death.
Justina and James had three children:
James R. Pope died infancy
Samuel Cornelius Pope m. Emma Ann Black

Obituary states she died at her sons residence which would have been Lake Mills, Jefferson Co., WI. and remains brought to Clinton, Rock Co., WI to be buried next to her husband James Raymar Pope.
