WASHINGTON -- Delbert Louis Spalding, 78, died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2002, at his home.
He was a telegraph operator for the B&O Railroad and served in the Marine Corp in Japan during World War II.
Surviving are a son, Robert; a sister, Marjorie Berkholz; two brothers, Edward and Donald; and three grandchildren.
Services 10 am. Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church, burial in Bethany Cemetery. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. today, with a wake at 4:30 p.m., at Ed Lee Mortuary.
