Mr. Boggs was a sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War II and received the Silver Star and the European African Middle Eastern Service Medal with seven bronze stars.
He married Evelyn M. Dill in Camden, March 22, 1952 and worked at the Frank Stern Blacksmith Shop and later with Martin Lingler, retiring August 1975.
He attended the First United Church of Christ.
Survivors are his wife Mrs. Evelyn Boggs, Fairfield, three daughters, three grand-daughters, two sisters, Mrs. George (Jane) Seegers, Hamilton, and Mrs. Steven (Rhoda) Hubeck, Eaton, Ohio.
