Sam died of pneumonia at age 33, leaving his 20 yr. old wife with four babies and two months pregnant. After four and a half years, Jesse remarried on Dec. 27, 1931, to Edgar Pascal Young (Oct. 10, 1888 - Oct 17, 1945). Edgar died at 57.
Once again, Jesse at 40, was left with four more small children. Jesse had nine children:
1. David Stevens Pearson (1919 - 1945) World II, in action, in Belgium.
2. Hugh Duncan Pearson (1921 - 1987)
3. Otis Murray Pearson (1923 - 1981)
4. Dorothy Frances Pearson Boswell (1925 - About 2003)
5. Sammie Deane Pearson (1927 - 1961) Plane he was flying crashed.
6. Luther Carroll Young (1933 - 1976)
7. Peggy Ann Young Yearwood (1934 - 1988)
8. Mary Elizabeth Young (1936 - 1936) 4 months old
