WILLIAM J. GARMAN IS BURIED SUNDAY

William J. Garman, 91, Idabel, died at 12:10 a.m. Saturday at McCurtain Memorial hospital.

Born in Detroit, Tex., May 31, 1866, he had resided in Idabel since 1938, moving from Cove, Ark. He was a farmer and a member of the Baptist church.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Coffey chapel with Rev. Lloyd Clark and Rev. J. J. Land officiating.

Arrangements and burial in Denison cemetery were under direction of Coffey funeral home.

Bearers were Delmar Bonner, Roy Hodges, Clarence Jones, James Ives, Alva Cable and L. D. Wisner.

He is survived by two sons, William F. Garman, Dallas, Tex., and Lee Garman, Mena, Ark.; two daughters, Mrs. R. B. Scott, Littlefield, Tex., and Mrs. Chester C. Brown, Idabel; two brothers, Jim Garman, North Hollywood, Calif., and Albert Garman, Henderson, Tex.; three sisters, Mrs. Patsy O'Keefe, Longview, Tex., Mrs. Georgia Tribble, Decator, Tex., and Mrs. Lou Watson, Henderson, Tex.; eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
