"She was born Dec. 31, 1924, in Newton, Kan., to George and Florence Glenn. She was attended school in Durham. She worked as a clerk typist fore the state for 14 years. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star, Horticulture Society of Chico, Women's Club of Durham, and Widowhood Program.
"She enjoyed flowers, floral competitions at fairs, music, playing the violin, college functions, ice skating, sewing and traveling. Her husband, Doyle, died in 1990.
"Survivors include a daughter, Carol Livingston of Roseville; a son, Dan of Durham; a sister, Norma Shirley of Durham; and five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
"Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glen Oaks Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Enloe Hospital."
