"AMAZONIA, Mo. --Lloyd C. Steeby, a lifelong resident of Andrew County, died Saturday night. He was 63. Mr. Steeby, a farmer, was a member of the Amazonia Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mabel; three daughters, Mrs. Jesse Cox and Mrs. Donald Bonner, both of St Joseph, and Mrs. Lloyd Wall of Savannah, Mo.; two sisters, Mrs. Robert Cobb and Mrs. Charles Lauber, both of St Joseph; three brothers, Grant Steeby and Olen Steeby, both of St Joseph, and Lee Steeby of Savannah; and seven grand-children."
