She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church and worked for many years as a store clerk at the Brandenburg Dollar Store. Mrs. Brandenburg is survived by one daughter Gracie Hobbs, and one son Wendell Brandenburg both of Beattyville; six grandchildren, Peggy Hobbs, Donna Brandenburg, Patricia Spencer and husband Tony, Jodi Coldiron and husband Al all of Beattyville, Gregory Brandenburg of Lexington, Kentucky and Michelle Riley of Beattyville; 10 great grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one sister, Martha Gabbard of Xenia OH and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by one son Orville Brandenburg, one grandson Clarence Hobbs, Jr.; a special son-in-law June Hobbs; four sisters and 3 brothers.
