Funeral for Nola Charlene Boatman, 76, Lawton, will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel, with minister Toby Blackstar officiating.

Nola departed this life Tuesday, July 5, 2011, in Lawton.

Burial will follow at Mountain Park Cemetery.

Nola Charlene Boatman was born June 20, 1935, to Charles Albert Boatman and Edna Madell (Harmon) Boatman, in Mountain Park. A longtime resident of Oklahoma, she worked as a waitress and a receptionist for a number of years. She had been retired since 1997.

She leaves behind four brothers and three sisters who will miss her: James and Sherry Boatman, of Angelton Texas; Charles Boatman, of Keller, Texas; Eddie and Tonya Boatman, of Decatur, Texas; Joe Boatman, of Florida; Dorothy Boatman, of Ada; and Wanda Rice and Gwen Boatman, of Lawton; a stepdaughter, Joanie Kingcade, of Carmen; 13 nieces and nephews; several great-nephews and great-nieces; cousins, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Charles and Edna Boatman; a sister, Edna Joyce Boatman; and one brother, Roy Dale Boatman.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
