The Oklahoman, Saturday, Jan 24, 1953:
Earl A. Deming, 55, of 2525 NW 25, Secretary-Treasurer of Oklahoma National Stockyards Co, died Friday morning in St Anthony Hospital.

Born in Potwin, KS, Deming was reared in Chandler and came here 35 years ago. He had been with the stockyards company all that time.

He came to the National Stockyards Co as a clerk in 1918 from Camp Cody, Deming, NM. He was a veteran of World War I, and a member of First Christian Church, the Lions Club and the Shrine. He also was secretary of the Oklahoma Coliseum Inc.

Deming entered the hospital a week ago. The exact cause of death has not been determined. Services will be Monday at 4 pm in the Guardian Funeral chapel. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Lota, of the home; a daughter, Mrs A. L. Christy Jr, Houston, TX; his mother, Mrs Sarah E. Deming, Chandler; two sisters, Mrs Paul Ferree, Colton, CA; and Mrs Jack Hobbs, Midwest City; and a brother, Burk Deming, San Bernardino, CA.
