Clarksville--Services for Mrs. Riley Clayton Herron of Bogata were conducted in Paris Monday in Lamar Avenue Church of Christ with U.C. Morrison and Homer Fendley officiating. Interment was in Knights of Honor Cemetery with Clarksville Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Herron, the former Winnie Bell Finch, who died Saturday in Red River County Hospital in Clarksville, was a daughter of Church Finch and Lilla Mathis. She was a Church of Christ member.
Surviving are her husband; six children, Horris C. Herron of Sylvan, Arvil Mack Herron of Blossom, Mrs. Jack Harris of San Diego, CA, Mrs. Floyd Morris of Oklahoma City, OK, Mrs. Billy Miears and Mrs. David Gibson of Dallas; nine grandchildren, two of whom, Jim Bob Young of Quitman and Mrs. Loretta Sue Weddle of Jacksonville, they reared as their own; five other descendants and a brother, Bob Finch of Washington.
