Omaha- Thomas A. Weir, former Omahan and U. S. Vice consul of Spain for the last two and a half years, died Saturday at the Naval hospital in Bethesda, Md. after an illness of several months, it was learned here Monday.
Weir, a graduate of the University of Nebraska college of engineering, was a consulting engineer for the Socony Vacuum Company from 1928 until he entered consular service.
Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. David H. Weir and a sister, Lucy, all of Omaha.
Services will be held here Wednesday.
