She was a member of the First Christian Church, Order of Eastern Star, past martron of O.E.S.

She married Willie Laurence on 4 June 1917 at Wichita, Kansas. The couple moved to Ranger in 1919 and to Breckenridge in 1920.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two children, all of her brothers and sisters.

Survivors: daughter - Mrs. James "Betty Jean" Holdridge; three grandchildren; nieces, nephews.
