James Franklin Hague 88 of Columbia, passed away on Saturday July 2, 2011. James was born on December 6, 1922 in Bolivar Mo. th son of Franklin James and Frances Margaret Bowman Hague. He married Naomi Jean McKenzie on September 23, 1946 and she preceded him in death. He later married Anne Valentine Bennett on MAY 27, 1988.

James was a Veteran of World War 11 in Company 1,258 infantry with battles at Noemandy, Northern France and Rhineland. He received several decoratons which included the Purple Heart with oak leaf cluster. He was previously enployed as a truck driver for Missouri Concrete. James owned and operated th Bait Shop andother buisnesses in Columbia ares. He was a avid collector and seller of antiques an alo enjoyed riding the back roads of central missouri with his driver, friendand caretaker. Jackie Cockrell.

Survivors include one son, Frank Davies of Tredegar Wales, grandchildren, Lori Matthews, Lucy Matthews, Beth Ridings, Nathan Davies, and Joe Davies, a sister, Bernice Cook, aBrother Billy Hague and several nieces and nephws. James was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Huskey, brother, Raymond Junior, Richard L. Sr. half siblings, George, John and Joseph McKinstry and Lucy Dailing and his faithful dog Daisy.

Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 10a.m. Friday July 8, 2011 at Memory Park Cemetery.
