On Oct. 2, 1939, she married Francis J. "Frank" Moles. He died Jan. 17, 2006.
Survivors are: sons, Robert and his wife, Nell, of Sedalia, Colo., and Richard and his wife, Maria, of Tyler, Texas; daughter, Connie Hagerman and her husband, Glenn, of Littleton, Colo.; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Her family moved to Elm Creek, Neb. Maxine attended school in Elm Creek and graduated from Elm Creek High School in 1938.
Maxine and Frank started their life together in Norfolk, Neb., and over the years lived in Redondo Beach, Wash., Elm Creek, Norfolk, Beatrice, Neb., Yakima, Wash., and Auburn, Wash. They retired to Kearney in 1984.
Maxine was a member of St. James Catholic Church. Maxine moved to Village at Skyline in Colorado Springs to be near her children, but her heart was always with St. James, the Catholic Daughters of America and her family and friends in Nebraska.
Maxine was a great wife and mother. She loved the company of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting and craft projects. The kids could always look forward to one of Grandma's projects at Christmas.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, two sisters and two grandchildren.
Burial was in the Kearney Cemetery, Kearney, NE.
