Margaret Putnam Hill went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ November 5, 2003. Services will be held in the Calvary Baptist Church today at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Steve Williams Officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Margaret was born in Holdenville, OK on December 27, 1913, to Willie and Eva Bowden Putnam. On April 3, 1938, she married Albert Hill. The couple made their home on a farm southeast of Okeene and later moved to Enid.
Surviving are her husband Albert; two sons, Billy and his wife Beverly of Pembroke Pines, FL, Robert and his wife Kyla of Enid: three grand children, Janet and Jennifer both of Ft. Worth, TX and Brian of Enid; two step children, DeAnna and Mark Mcutcheon of Pembroke Pines, FL; four step grandchildren; a sister in law, Gladys Hill; nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister and granddaughter, Melisa; daughter in law Sandra.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials to be made through the funeral home to The Jim Logsdon Scholarship Fund or Hospice Circle of Love.
